New web site launch

Africa Rural Trainers launches a new mobile and tablet friendly web site with new options to sponsor training pastors or a number of special projects.  Previous news items are no longer available on this site. Donation options are available, for the time being, using PayPal.  This facility can also process Credit Card payments we may add SagePay or an alternative Credit Card payment gateway at a later stage.  The site also allows donations to be set up by Bank Standing Order or Electronic Funds Transfer.

Library on a Kindle Project

ART is investigating the feasibility of putting course notes and a selection of commentaries and other useful books for pastors on a Kindle or Nook e-reader.

ART Trustees visit pastor Edward’s church

During Jeremy and Jan’s visit to Kenya in November with Roy Summers and Steve Mitchell, they had a chance to visit the church where Edward is pastor.  Edward is one of the pastors in training and it was a delight to join with the congregation in worship and also to hear him preach so well.

Roy Summers visits Maram pastors class

Roy Summers, Jeremy and Jan’s pastor visited Kenya in November along with Steve Mitchell, one of the elders at Manor Park Evangelical Church in Worcester.  Steve and Roy taught the pastors for a day on the subject of biblical leadership.  Many questions were fielded including the role of women in leadership!
