Mulot Cohort Opens

The Mulot training centre in the Rift Valley opened on 6th March 2023. It marks the second cohort to open in this region and the launch was attended by some of the nearby Ololung’a cohort that opened last year. There was a record subscription of 50 pastors including a number of bishops, all passionate about being trained. Pray for this new group of pastors!

Receipt of ESV Study Bibles

The Ololung’a centre in the Rift Valley opened in 2022 and received their ESV Study Bibles recently. We thank God for a generous gift in 2022 that has enabled ART to provide ESV Study Bibles to all the current pastors in training. These bibles are a tremendous resource for the pastors containing backgrounds to each of the books of the bible as well as detailed verse by verse study notes. There are also a very helpful set of articles in the Study Bible.

Pastors Awarded Accredited Certificates

ART has partnered with the Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College to provide Kenya government accredited certificates for students on our 3 year bible training course. These were issued to graduates of the 2018 intake who eventually were able to graduate after a 6 month delay in training due to the Covid Pandemic in 2022.

775 Pastors & Leaders Trained since ART Founded

ART has now trained 775 pastors and leaders since the work was founded in 2009 and we thank God for the countless lives changed and transformed by God’s word. The impact has not just been amongst the pastors and leaders but also their families, church and the wider community. AT the graduation ceremony in Mbeu in 2021, local chiefs and government official who attended, testified to the wide impact of ART’s training on the community.

New Training Programme Launched in 12 Centres

ART has launched 12 new cohorts across Kenya covering the Coast and Meru regions together with Nyanza and Western Provinces. Classes are being taught by a combination of staff and volunteers. Some of the volunteers are from last years graduation but a number have been volunteering since the first graduation in 2013. Mobilisation for this season has been more challenging due to the ongoing impact of Covid19 but ART is planning to open more centres this year.
